Adding products to the Sitex Marketplace is done entirely through your vendor dashboard. Everything is managed from your own dashboard interface.
From your vendor dashboard, click Products in the left-hand navigation menu. You will see a list of all your current product listings. To add a new product, click the Add New button in the top-left corner.
The product creation form uses the same interface such as popular ecommerce platforms, so it will feel familiar. Complete the following key fields:
Product name — a clear, descriptive title for your product
Description — full product description including key features, materials, and specifications
Short description — a brief summary shown on product listing pages
Price — your retail selling price (excl. VAT where applicable)
SKU — your unique product reference or stock keeping unit
Stock quantity — how many units you have available
Weight and dimensions — required for shipping calculations
Product images — upload a main image and any additional gallery images
Category — assign your product to the most relevant category
If your product comes in multiple variations (such as different sizes, colours, or quantities), select Variable product as the product type. You can then add attributes and create individual variations, each with their own price, SKU, and stock level.
Once you have filled in all required fields, save your product. Products can be saved in one of two statuses:
Draft — saved but not submitted for review. Use this if you are still working on the listing.
Ready for Review — submits the product to the Sitex marketplace team for approval before it goes live.
All products submitted to the Sitex Marketplace are reviewed by our team before they are published. This ensures listings meet our quality and accuracy standards. You will be notified once your product has been approved and is live on the marketplace. If changes are required, our team will contact you with details.
If you have a large number of products to add, you can use the CSV import function to upload them in bulk. See the article Importing and Exporting Products via CSV for full instructions.
