When a customer places an order that includes one of your products, you will receive a notification and the order will appear in your vendor dashboard. This guide explains how to view, manage, and fulfil those orders.
From your vendor dashboard, click Orders in the left-hand navigation menu. You will see a list of all orders assigned to your store, including the order number, customer name, date, total value, and current status. Click on any order to view its full details.
Orders move through the following statuses:
Pending — order placed but payment not yet confirmed
Processing — payment confirmed, awaiting fulfilment
Shipped — order dispatched to the customer
Completed — order delivered and fulfilled
Cancelled — order has been cancelled
Refunded — a refund has been issued
When you are ready to dispatch an order, follow these steps:
Open the order from your Orders list
Review the customer's delivery address and items ordered
Pack and dispatch the items according to your fulfilment process
Update the order status to Shipped
Enter the courier name and tracking number if available — this is sent to the customer automatically
The order will move to Completed once delivery is confirmed
As a vendor on the Sitex Marketplace, you are expected to dispatch orders within the timeframe stated in your store policies. Delays should be communicated promptly via the messaging system. Repeated fulfilment failures may result in a review of your vendor account.
When a customer orders from multiple vendors in a single basket, the order is automatically split into sub-orders — one per vendor. You will only see and manage your own sub-order. The customer receives a combined order confirmation and separate dispatch notifications from each vendor.
From the order detail view, you can download a PDF of the order or export order data to CSV for your own records. This is useful for maintaining your own fulfilment logs or invoicing records.
