If you have a large number of products to list on the Sitex Marketplace, you can save time by importing them in bulk using a CSV file rather than adding each product manually. You can also export your existing products to CSV for record-keeping or to make bulk edits.
To download a copy of your current product catalogue:
Go to Products in your vendor dashboard
Click the Download CSV button in the top-left area of the products list
A CSV file will be downloaded containing all your current product data
You can also download a PDF or print your product list directly from the same toolbar. Use the Edit Columns button to customise which fields appear in your export.
To bulk upload products:

Click the Import button
Download the CSV template if you do not already have one — this ensures your file uses the correct column headers
Fill in your product data in the template. Required fields include: product name, price, SKU, stock quantity, and category
Save your completed file as a .csv file
Upload the file using the import tool
Review the import preview to check for any errors before confirming
Key columns in the product CSV template include:
Name — product title
SKU — unique product code
Regular price — standard selling price
Sale price — optional discounted price
Stock — available quantity
Weight — product weight in kg
Categories — product category (must match an existing category)
Images — URL of product image(s)
Description — full product description
Short description — brief product summary
Always use the provided template — custom column names may not be recognised
Ensure SKUs are unique across all your products
Category names must match exactly what is set up in the marketplace
Image URLs must be publicly accessible
Remove any special characters or line breaks from description fields before importing
